L’Épée at EartH, Hackney, Dec 9th 2019

L’Épeé at the Evolutionary Arts Hackney (EartH) theatre was an awesome gig and a great venue to experience this.

The L’Épeé band is made up of French rock group The Limiñanas, French actress, singer and former model, Emmanuelle Seigner, and rock legend himself, Anton Newcombe, of The Brown Jonestown Massacre.

Being a movie fan, a fan of 60s rock and French music in general, there is plenty to like about L’Épeé musically and visually.

I would 100% recommend seeing them Live if you’re a fan of theirs or this genre, the psychedelic lighting and powerful wall of sound, in this old theatre setting in particular, gave it a very cool cinematic ambience, and I heard at least one new song not on their debut album: ‘Diabolique‘.
